Daniel Coyne offers a rare combination of creative juice and business savvy. His years as a marketing director enable him to grasp and advance big-picture goals, while his creative curiosity generates a wellspring of ideas and discoveries.
Above all, he is a consummate communicator.
Prior to launching his freelance career, Daniel polished his marketing skills at the Direct Marketing Association, where he held four titles, including director of membership and research marketing. Following his years at The DMA, Daniel went on to serve as marketing director for a major healthcare company, overseeing both B-to-B and B-to-C efforts. Most recently, Daniel was director of marketing and communications for Men's Resources International, a nonprofit organization working to engage men in ending gender-based violence in Africa and in the United States.
Daniel has written reams of copy for virtually every marketing channel including direct mail, e-mail, brochures, print ads, Web copy, telemarketing scripts, and infomercials. His copy has been seen and heard everywhere from the New York Times and NPR to airplane banners flown over the Hamptons.
Daniel received his B.A. from Middlebury College in Vermont, and his M.F.A. from the University of Florida. He is a former member of the Direct Marketing Association, the DMA Agency Council, and the Type Directors Club. He has taught Marketing and Communications Writing at New York University and public speaking at the University of Florida.
Daniel is also an accomplished juggler and magician.
